Putney Boy's Bedroom

Seen in The Sunday Times Home magazine

One of our all-time favorite mural transformations, this skateboarding-inspired wall mural is a standout example of bold, graphic design meeting architectural challenges head-on. Spanning two connecting walls, the mural had to cleverly incorporate a bathroom door, adapt to sloped eaves, and wrap seamlessly around a chimney breast. Set against a backdrop of crisp white paint, the vibrant colors and dynamic, urban skateboarding graphics truly pop, creating a striking visual impact.

The mural incorporated boarders doing stunts in mid air set against skyscraper buildings wrapped around the walls.
The design continued to include the bathroom door.
View from the hall - that fabulous Blueprint logo on the angled wall looks incredibly dynamic.

At the heart of this custom mural design is a striking tribute to Blueprint skateboards, the brand close to our skate enthusist’s heart, as he owns several of their decks. The design prominently features Blueprint’s iconic heart-shaped logo on the chimney breast, serving as the creative inspiration for the entire mural. This emblem anchors the dynamic composition that captures the energy, movement, and rebellious spirit of skateboarding culture. Tobin’s favorite colors, blue and red are woven throughout the artwork, enhancing the vibrancy and personal significance of the mural.

"When Tobin and his dad first saw the finished room with this amazing mural, they lay down on his bed and just stared and stared at it for hours. In awe!"
